Come and See!

I have been a born-again believer, a Christian, since I was eight years old. I received the Lord and experienced a believer's baptism at this early age as a result of my dear Christian parents and the Baptist church where we were members. It is hard for me to remember a time when I did not love the Lord Jesus, the Bible, and the church. From that time until today, I praise the Lord that my life has been guided and preserved by that early influence. Now, after having been a wife, mother, public school teacher, sister, daughter and friend, my daily life is still guided by touching the Lord in His Word and fellowshipping with any who are real Christians.

While I loved my Baptist church and all the activities in which I was involved, at about the age of 30, I began to read the literature of Watchman Nee, specifically The Normal Christian Church Life. This little book really opened my eyes and I began to search for some who practiced this kind of church life. Eventually, the Lord led me to a large Texas city and to a group of Christians who practiced meeting in this simple way, in real oneness, experiencing the Lord.

Now, after having met with the local churches in various cities and the world for over twenty years, my testimony is simply that the Lord and the Word are richer and sweeter than ever before. The writings and ministry of both Watchman Nee and Witness Lee have encouraged and enlightened me. I continue to be astounded at the depth of the riches the Lord imparted to these two men and I have been able to apply these riches in a practical way by meeting with the church in Arlington.

I feel very strongly that the Lord led me to this ministry and has kept me here all these years. I would encourage others who are searching for simplicity in meeting, depth in their Christian walk, more understanding and appreciation of the Bible, and encouragement to love the Lord and consecrate to Him to come and see!
